Valuable

1 Corinthians 15:58
“Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.”

“Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.”
Maybe you are in a stage of your life where you are having to sacrifice a lot. That could be the energy you don’t have, praise you don’t feel like bringing, or a smile that doesn’t come so naturally anymore. Whatever it is, I hope God speaks through your device, directly to your needs.
I like how this verse says, ‘because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.’ A definition of the word vain means ‘having no real value’. Well, I am here to tell you, that what you do for the Lord is not useless. It has a value to it, and just because you don’t see it right now, I encourage you to stand firm. Also, even if you aren’t technically doing labor for the Lord, like homework versus serving the homeless, it still has value because you are doing it out of your reverence for God. You know that the Lord gave His all, so you try to give your all in your sports, relationships, and all other aspects of life. Just because it doesn’t have something to do with God doesn’t mean you can’t invite Him into your responsibilities.
I would love to pray over you. I pray for the heart that hurts from all of the earthly work she/he has to do, and feels so far from home; heaven. I pray that the Lord would blow each of you away supernaturally this week. I pray that you would never think God forgot about all of the minutes you persevered in whatever challenged you.
Your work has value for a reason!

Love, Sarah Grace
