Hurricane Florence gained strength Monday over the Atlantic ocean causing millions to evacuate North Carolina. As of now, the category 4 Hurricane has winds up to 140 miles per hour. A major threat currently to North and South Carolina is flooding, most of the two areas are known for being easily flooded causing many residents to worry. Schools in 17 counties are expected to be closed Tuesday, September 11, 2018. The hurricane is expected to make landfall Thursday where it is going to have a very high chance of causing severe flooding.
